In the vibrant Sinai, Egypt of 2130, I, Tirana, a jewelry designer born in 2105, accidentally find myself in 2024 through my family's ancestral ability to time travel. In this unexpected time slip, I lose the amulet, my only means of returning home, and realize that I must leave a message for my family to come and get me. With over 5,000 years of time-traveling history to consider, I decide to create "Tirana est. 2024“ a jewelry brand with my great-great-grandmother, Yasmine. Yasmine and I embark on a journey creating an iconic jewelry brand with a name that will serve as a timeless message to my family. My journey is a quest to connect the threads of my past with my future, a narrative that transcends centuries and is fueled by the desire to reunite with my loved ones across time.
About Yasmine
Yasmine El Biali Is the jewellery designer and the founder of Tirana jewellery. Her passion started at the age of 10 when she was creating hand-made beaded jewellery and selling it on the beach during holidays.
It wasn’t until the age of 19 that she discovered her true purpose in life. It was during this time when she found herself working alongside the biggest jewellery factory and business in Egypt as a jewellery designer.
Her work there has made Yasmine the first Egyptian to receive a scholarship at the Institute Europe de Designo in Rome: One of the best jewellery design academies in the world, where she worked along with creative minds of brands such as Bulgari and Pomellato.
She came back to Egypt with a mission to create her own inclusive luxury jewellery brand. Working on Tirana is Yasmine’s life project to empower women with beautiful everyday designs that make each moment feel special.
